Clients opt in to appointment texts by checking this box when booking on taar.io or in the Taar app. Consent is optional and not required to book. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply; frequency varies.

1. Where someone opts in

The booking form on taar.io. The phone field and the consent box sit together, and the box is unchecked until the client checks it. Booking works either way — consent is never required to book.

2. What they see after booking

The confirmation page. If the box was checked, this is the booking the texts are about: one confirmation now, one reminder before the appointment, and one follow-up after it.

Who sends them

Taar is operated by Chacha Advisory LLC, which is the entity the A2P campaign is registered to. Notices and questions go to hello@taar.io.

What we send

Only messages about a booking the client made: a confirmation when it is made, a reminder before the appointment, and one follow-up afterwards. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not text anyone who has not booked.

How consent is collected

By checking the box shown above, at the moment of booking, on taar.io or in the Taar app. The box is never checked for the client, consent is not a condition of booking, and nothing is sent unless both a number and a check are present.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out stops the texts and does not cancel the booking. Message frequency varies with how many appointments a client books. Message and data rates may apply. A person reads hello@taar.io as well.

What we never do

We never share or sell phone numbers or SMS consent to anyone, for any purpose, including to other companies for their own marketing.
