Service Dispatcher

Responsibilities:

• Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from customers
• Manage, schedule, and dispatch Plumbing & HVAC Technicians to service calls based on urgency, location, and technician availability
• Monitor and adjust service schedules to accommodate emergencies or changes in service requirements
• Communicate with customers to confirm service appointments. Provide updates and answer customer questions
• Handle customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have all the necessary information and resources for each service call
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and technicians regarding schedules, job details, and changes
• Meet with Department Managers weekly

Required:

• Experienced: 3+ years of experience in a customer service or customer-facing role is required
• Great Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly: Enjoys interacting with and serving others, can answer questions, and build customer loyalty. Positive attitude
• Problem-Solver: Able to think through and adapt to challenges and situations quickly and efficiently
• Organized: Able to maintain schedules, accurate records of service requests, technician assignments, and job completion
• Computer Savvy: Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Adaptable: able to manage multiple tasks and work with interruptions

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required
• College Degree Preferred
