As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that expectations are consistently exceeded and a lasting impression is left on clients. Responsibilities:

  • Building, posting, monitoring, and closing loads in both customer and TMS systems.
  • Diagnosing, assessing, and resolving problems or issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensuring drivers upload Proof of Delivery (PODs) and other essential paperwork after completing load delivery.
  • Managing changes or cancellations to delivery orders efficiently.
  • Participating in the analysis and review of operating performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Keeping track of closed or late starting routes and communicating relevant information to customers.
  • Conducting searches on Load Boards for available loads, maximizing efficiency.
  • Familiarizing yourself with FMCSA’s Hours of Service guidelines to uphold compliance.
  • Monitoring driver schedules and ensuring they have enough hours to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Excelling in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrating exceptional data entry and computer skills to streamline operations.
  • Showcasing strong customer service skills to delight our clients.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned, contributing to the growth of company.

 

Required:

  • At least one (1) year of previous Logistics experience, with 3PL experience preferred.
  • Two (2) years of Customer Service experience, demonstrating your commitment to client satisfaction.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent ensures you have a foundation for success.
  • Experience with TMS and related software, giving you a head start in mastering our systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations.
  • The capability to remain composed under pressure, even in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep-rooted commitment to providing exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to delight our clients.
  • A professional phone manner is essential for effective communication with customers and partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business applications to streamline your workflow.

While not required, the following skills and experiences will make you stand out as an exceptional candidate:

  • Having Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish enhances our ability to serve a diverse clientele.
  • Solid organizational skills, facilitating efficient task management.
  • Associate’s degree or Military Pay Grade of E1 – E4, showcasing your dedication to growth and development.
  • Strong computer skills, enabling you to leverage technology for improved outcomes.
  • Excellent follow-through on daily tasks and projects, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, which would be advantageous in this role.
  • Related experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
