About the company
A trucking company based out of United States is seeking experienced 3PL Logistics Account Executives. They are looking for highly motivated shipper-facing salespeople with experience in closing customers in the logistics industry and/or those who have an existing book of business. As a fast-growing company, they are eager to add more talented individuals to their already skilled team. This is a commission-based sales job with a competitive base salary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers to secure new business and manage existing accounts.
- Identify and close sales opportunities in the logistics industry.
- Utilize an existing book of business to generate revenue and expand customer base.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term client relationships.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to potential clients.
- Track and report on sales activities and performance using CRM software.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required:
- Proven experience as a 3PL Logistics Account Executive or in a similar shipper-facing sales role within the logistics industry.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and secure new business.
- An existing book of business is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sales drive.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
